We have collaborated in semester-long projects with Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, and with Wentworth Institute as well as hosting one day events for RISD, Univ. of Virginia Architecture School, and MIT.
Students have provided the important service of surveying and drawing modern houses here for which there was no documentation. This process is also an invaluable tool for helping students to understand the buildings and their designers.
For Harvard’s project in the spring 2012, students made a film re-imagining the Hatch Cottage and it’s landscape through a combination of live filming and digital animation. The work in progress was presented by the students and faculty in Aug. 2012 at Preservation Hall in Wellfleet.
