Its been a great year thanks to your participation. Our book Cape Cod Modern won the 2015 Historic New England Book Prize and is soon going into it’s third printing, just a year and a half after it’s publication-12,000 will then be in print.

Our residency program hosted Rural Communities Today, a symposium collecting a diverse and important group of design thinkers. The group first met at the Chermayeff house, emulating the critical discussions which the house fostered in the mid 20th century, and then at a public event at the library.
Mathias Kessler (2014 artist in residence) installed a large mesh photo mural in front of the Wellfleet Library to coincide with his lecture and book signing in August.
The documentary Built on Narrow Land (by our board president Malachi Connolly) showed in film festivals in Copenhagen and Seoul, South Korea.
Our benefit auction in October was a great success. Thank you to Greene Naftali Gallery and all the artists, foundations and buyers.
Coming in 2016: The modern house tour will focus on a significant, and little known, collection of modern house in Chilmark, Martha’s Vineyard.
