Since the Cape was first inhabited, its residents have used the simple materials at hand for shelter and self expression. This talk explores this legacy, from pre-historic dwellings to the experimental summer homes of the modernist pioneers.

This event is part of the the Wellfleet Historical Society’s 2016 lecture series

McMahon, who curated this exhibit, will examine the local mid-century writers and illustrators, who produced over 200 ground-breaking books for children.
