FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS

Docomomo

Since 2019 we have partnered with Docomomo for large bi-annual tours of seldom-seen modern houses on the outer Cape. Our founder has spoken at many of their events and they have been an invaluable resource for the modernism preservation community.

Wentworth Institute of Technology

Since 2012 we have partnered with Wentworth’s architecture program on three semester-long projects in which students visited our houses, did field documentation and re-designed / re-imagined the structures for new uses.

Nauset Regional High School

Since 2025 we have collaborated with the architecture program at Nauset, with annual design projects and field trips followed by classroom critiques and lectures by our Founder. Every year we have two paid interns from the school who receive a $500 scholarship award upon graduation. Almost all  of these students have gone on to college level study in architecture, engineering and design.

High Tide, Home Ease

The team of experienced professionals at High Tide have donated time towards the maintenance of our restored modern houses, starting in 2023.

Provincetown Community Compact

When CCMHT was first formed in 2007, the Compact served as our Fiscal Sponsor until we had our own non-profit status. Their mission of preservation and public access to the Dune Shacks has made us frequent collaborators.

Hutker Architects

Hutker Architects and their staff have generously donated their time to help draw and document local modern houses, and have helped fund the Breuer House restoration project.

A3 Architects

In the past, The A3 team has helped greatly with documentation of buildings for our book Cape Cod Modern and is currently helping with detailed as-built and restoration drawings for the Breuer house project.

The Cape Cod National Seashore

CCMHT’s formation in 2007 grew out of conversations with the Seashore concerning the fate of their significant modern houses. Through a close collaboration we have restored four of these houses on seashore property and repurposed them for public access and creative programming.

Lekker Home

Lekker Home has generously donated furnishings for two of our houses.
