2009 Modern House Tour and Symposium

Our 2009 Modern House Tour, in collaboration with Castle Hill, will be Sunday August 23rd at 11:00 am, with a beach bonfire at the conclusion of the Tour at Balston Beach in Truro. Our first annual Symposium will be the night before (Saturday, August 22nd) at 7:30 pm. For tickets please go to the bottom of the registration page at: https://www.castlehill.org/register.html. If you have trouble with paypal, call them directly and someone will take your registration. Space for the tour is limited so don't delay. The Symposium will be at a large venue and there should be plenty of tickets available. See you there.

Paul H. Krueger AIA, ASLA
At age 28, Krueger was project architect for Harvard's Carpenter Center, Le Corbusier’s only building in North America. Soon after the project's completion in 1963, Paul designed the remarkable Mark House in Truro, to be followed by many others. His lecture will focus on his collaboration with Corbu and its effect on his work.
Paul Krueger is Principal of Krueger Associates Architects and Landscape Architects, Cambridge and Truro.

K. Michael Hays is Eliot Noyes Professor of Architectural Theory at Harvard's Graduate School of Design, Adjunct Curator of Architecture at the Whitney Museum of Art, and curator of the Whitney's 2008 show Buckminster Fuller: Starting with the Universe.
