2020 Snapshots

In spite of everything, 2020 had many highlights.

We had to cancel most tours and events, and couldn’t accommodate renters until well into June due to Covid restrictions, but we had some long term guests who rode out the winter/spring with us either by choice or because they couldn’t travel home.

Our friends Aaron and Steph stayed in Kugel-Gips for much of that time and finally made it back to Montreal in time for their daughter’s birth (Olya) in July.

 CCMHT board member, Victoria Kennedy, and Richard Baker stayed in the Hatch House in August where she took this photo of P-town at night from the deck, and he offered this illustration of life and gastronomy during their week.

The Ramos Johnson family, who stayed in Weidlinger in July, were inspired to recreate iconic Bauhaus images using available materials.

Long time CCMHT associates, Jamie and Corey Caplette, stayed in Weidlinger in June and their son (August) seemed to fit right in to the architectural vibe.

Our 2020 Artist/Scholar residency began this week so stay tuned for news of that, and stay well.
