In June, we held a small (outdoor and semi social distanced) event to give Sebastian Sacco the first annual Nauset / Modern House Trust, Young Architects Award.

Sebastian has done outstanding work in his six semesters in Richard Tichnor's architectural design and drawing classes at Nauset Regional High School. He plans to attend Pratt Institute in the fall 2020.The award includes a weekend in one of the Trusts house and a signed copy of Cape Cod Modern.

Also receiving an honorable mention Award was graduating Nauset Senior, Sophie Friend who plans to attend Smith College in the fall. She was also the recipient of this year's Nauset High School Fine Arts Award for Applied Arts.

In 2019 both winners participated in the Hatch house redesign project in which students took the houses modular concept and same number of cubes, to create a house for two artists.
